Designing garden for Harlem Grown.
To embody the ideas from Harlem Grown Group, we develop our design into three programs. “Naturing” to express one of Harlem Grown’s major programs as agriculture; “Gathering” to cultivate a welcoming community garden space; and “Nurturing” to a deeper connection with the local community by providing library space and educational program. Inspired by Harlem Grown’s idea of a trellis, we further develop it to be a flowing element in the garden that not only harmoniously guides but also creates a playful garden experience.
