Angel's Fashion Studio Proposal

This project aims to open an independent fashion shop for Angel that can both show her design style and meet all kinds of functional requirements in the early stage of her entrepreneurship. Angel is a fashion designer. She intends to set up a multifunctional fashion shop in the World Financial Center of Beijing. “I hope that my studio contains a showroom, a workshop with a warehouse, and also an office”, she mentioned in a conversation.
The theme of the clothing shop centers around Angel’s personality and design style. Her personality resembles the sea, which is usually soft and quiet. While her designs are avant-garde and bold, like the stormy sea. And the shell is the creature that conforms to her character most in the sea. When you pick up a shell and listen to it, you can hear the sound of waves, so the main body of the building is designed to the shape of shell. The rounded design not only ensures the daylighting in daytime, but also meets Angel’s requirements for production and the function of showroom.
